Ghanaian midfield enforcer Mubarak Wakaso is rumoured to be on the radar of 2 Spanish clubs Valencia and Cadiz. Wakaso is currently on the books of the Chinese Super League side Shenzen FC. But he has been inactive throughout the past season due to injuries. After recovering from an injury he hasn't seen much action since. His call up to the Ghana national team was therefore a surprise to many. He was also part of the squad taken to the 2021 African Cup in Cameroon even though he was injured.

We were told call-ups will be on merit but that wasn't the case for Wakaso. Only the handlers of the national team know what they are doing. If he can secure a move to any of the La Liga sides, it will be good for him. He is not a stranger to the league. He has played there for so many years so adaptation won't be a problem at all. I wish him the very best and I hope he will get back to form soon.
