What happened at Cape coast stadium yesterday is another big disgrace to Ghana football.

One of the big league fixture between Ebusua Dwarfs and Legon cities happened at the Cape Coast sport stadium, yesterday. However the match had to be truncated after halftime, after the match officials were allegedly threatened by some fans of Ebusua Dwarfs prior to halftime. The officials felt insecured and decided to boycott officiating and shelter themselves in the dressing room.

The first half of the game ended in a 0:1 scoreline in favour of Legon cities, and since the referees didn't turn up for the the second half to continue, the match had to be truncated.

Despite the efforts being made to bring back the love of football in the country, Ghana football continue to lose it reputation and lucrative sponsors because of the negligence on the part of some football spectators lately. It about time the football administration in the country devise stiffer sanctions for those found corporable of this insolent behaviours at our stadia.

The incident is becoming very rampant and detrimental as it keeps hindering the beauty of Ghana football. Our football referees can no longer officiate with ease anymore because of these threats. The president of The GFA must act because it's getting out of hand.
