It Was A Fair Result – Coach Samuel Boadu Admits After Super Clash

Caleb Amankwah scored a late equalizer to cancel out Yusif Mubarik’s lead for Kotoko as the first super clash of the season ended in a draw at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

The two clubs gave their all amid some controversial decisions though it was a good game for both sides who are currently without a win this season.

Speaking after the game, Coach Samuel Boadu was quick to accept that the result was a reflection of how the game went. Although he confirmed that midfielder Gladson Awako had to be withdrawn because of an injury, the team’s work was impressive. He said “It was a fair result for Hearts. It is always a big game so coming back to get a draw is always difficult so I think we have done well.”

Kotoko will face Nsoatreman FC on Wednesday before facing King Faisal over the weekend in a regional derby. Hearts of Oak will also host Bibiani Gold Stars on Saturday.
