Most football seasons across the globe have begun with some games even played. A new season of the Ghana Premier League (GPL) is also about to take off as the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announced the dates for the 2021/2022 Premier League football season.
The competition is scheduled to kick off on Friday, October 29, 2021. Matches will be played till the weekend of June 17-20, 2022 where everything would be rounded up. The first half of the season will come to an end on the weekend of February 11-14, 2021.
The defending champions, Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club would begin its season campaign with an opening game at the Accra Sports Stadium against Legon Cities FC.
