2020/2021 Ghana Premier League (GPL) Champions, Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club progressed to the next preliminary stage of the CAF Champions League. This is after the club won its first preliminary game against Guinean top flight team, CI Kamsar in a single match played at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Few weeks after its victory, The Phobians are set to face Moroccan Champions, Wydad Athletic Club in the second preliminary stage at the Ohene Djan Sports Stadium today at 3:00 PM. It is reported that the Moroccan giants would be going into this game without 5 key players. According to reports, the players below have been sidelined due to injuries among others
1. Reda Jaadi
2. Theophile Tsomo
3. Gaye Mpenza
4. Jalal Daoudi
5. Salahuddin Benisho
One would say this is an advantage to Hearts of Oak Sporting Club to secure a first win at home against the Moroccan giants. With the tactical prowess of double-winning Coach Samuel Boadu, fans would be expecting an easy win at the Accra Sports Stadium today.
