Gyan signed for the Royals last October as a free agent in a 1-year deal.
The former Sunderland forward, 35, has however seen his playing time limited due to incessant injuries.
Gyan, all time Ghana’s top scorer, wants a concerted effort at the club to ensure they make an impact in the league.
“Legon Cities FC have done a lot of signings, they have a project, they have an ambition.
“Me being part of it I’m very happy.
“Nobody knows what is going to happen but everything is going to depend on the team.
“I think the management are doing extremely well, they are doing their best.
“We the players, we will also make sure we do our best on the field.
“It is a collective thing, it is not only about the players.
“The whole team, the management and everybody involved in what we are doing so that we can have the success.
“The players must be happy and I think so far the players are happy.” Gyan told Legon Cities TV.
The Royals roped in the service of experienced coach, Bashir Hayford who has temporarily steered the club out of the relegation zone.
The former AshantiGold, Medeama, Hearts of Oak and Kotoko trainer has equally brought on board veteran striker, Hans Kwoffie who has so far scored three goals in two matches.
It is reported that Legon Cities are almost through with acquiring Nigerien forward, Victorien Adebayor who was transferred by Inter Allies to Danish side, HB Koege.
They lie 14th on the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League table.
