Fans are also upset at the poor run of results and the lack of silverware in the last decade-O. Addo

Hearts of Oak should try and respect players contract because this will all account for the proper preparation to win a trophy. The players must be respected when it comes to teams negotiation, especially with free players who wants some huge amount to feed the family and live big. Nowadays, football is not always about money but also constant making of money as you can risk your career any moment in time. Esso is not the first player and will not be the last to do so as well the management of the team must sit upo and do things right. Management of the club have come under intense pressure after the news of Esso’s departure was announced last week. Some fans of the club are labeling the management as incompetent following their inability to convince the former Ebusua Dwarfs attacker to sign a new contract.

However, speaking on Fox FM on the issue, Opare Addo insisted Hearts of Oak were willing to renew the contract of the player but the player wanted to sign just a season deal, whilst the club were willing to offer him a 2-year deal, hence their inability to renew his contract.

Communication Director for Accra Hearts of Oak, Kwame Opare Addo has appealed to fans to remain confident in the board as they put measures in place to improve the club. This comes after fans of the club expressed anger at the decisions taken by the board in the past ten years following the resignation of Serbian coach Kosta Papic. Fans are also upset at the poor run of results and the lack of silverware at the club in the last decade. According to Opare Addo , stability following the departure of Papic was paramount and the club believes it has been able to achieve that.

If only the silverware and other laurels will follow, then there must be consistency and motivation from the board. The coaches at the bench plays a key role in most of the players career by enforcing them to stay and give them more playing time. And the interested coach will build some rapport which will be conducive for the players in any moment in time. This situation is like Jose Mourinho and Michael Essien who pick him at Lyon to Chelsea and Chelsea to Real Madrid that is good coaching rapport.. Opare Addo admits the club is sticking with coach Nii Odoom for the 2020/21 season, and has no plans of making any changes to the head of the technical department. "People should take their minds off regarding Ibrahim Tanko. We're looking for an assistant coach. Edward is going to lead the team for the upcoming season as the head coach," he told Hello FM. "When Kim Grant left we made it clear that Odoom has taken place. We didn't state otherwise. If there is any change we'll announce it," he added.
