Ex-Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan arrives in Cameroon for 2021 AFCON draw

Ghanaian legend Asamoah Gyan arrived in Yaounde, Cameroon on Tuesday to participate in the 2021 African Cup of Nations draw. 

 The former Black Star captain will join other African legends, and 24 participating teams will be divided into groups. 

 In the seven African Cup of Nations games he participated in, Ji An scored in six (6) of them, which was held together with Cameroonian legends Samuel Eto'o and Zambian Kalusa Bovaria record of. 

 The former Sunderland and Al Ain strikers have been invited by the African Football Association (Caf). 

 Lottery Process: 

 qualified teams will be divided into four pots according to their FIFA world rankings, with 6 in each round. 

 According to this ranking, the four best teams will be assigned to the first level together with the host and champion Algeria. 

 The remaining 18 teams will be assigned to the three remaining pots according to their ranking. 

 The Africa Cup of Nations of the end of 2021 will be held from January 9 to February 6, 2022. The first match and the final of 

 will be played at the newly built Orumbe Stadium in Yaoundé, with a capacity of 60,000 people. 

 Other locations include Douala, Bafusam, Garua and Limbe
