The Catalans might've found a proper replacement for Jordi Alba.
Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu has said many times that, alot of the aged players will be leaving the squad to make way for most of the youngsters.. And the left back position is one position which has gone unnoticed for some years now, with Jordi Alba being an undisputable starter in the squad.
Junior Firpo was brought to compete with Jordi Alba but it hasn't been successful since.. So Though some believe in the potentiality of Firpo,he hasn't played to expectation and still some doubt his ability.....
"Barcelona sniffing around Angeliño, Ronald Koeman supposedly behind the interest. City want €30m which was similar to his clause at Leipzig,"
The 23-year-old Spaniard has spent the season on loan at RB Leipzig, showing impressive football for Julian Nagelsmann's side.
The left-back has made 30 appearances for Man City and RB Leipzig combined this season, recording 1 goal and 7 assists, as per Transfermarkt.
Angelino has been slightly better than Jordi Alba in many defensive aspects this season – tackles per game (1.2 vs 0.7), interceptions (1.5 vs 1.4), clearances (1.2 vs 1) (via WhoScored).
As for the attacking impact, Angelino has been far better than our veteran: key passes per game (1.5 vs 1.1), dribbles (1.5 vs 0.4) and fouls won (1.2 vs 0.7) are only some of the key stats that are worth a mention.
Should Barça go in all for Angelino or still keep Jordi Alba and Junior Firpo...make your comments below
