Reece James won the man of the match award last night at Stamford Bridge after Chelsea defeated AC Milan 3-0, but I believe the award should have gone to AC Milan forward Rafael Leao despite their loss.

Here are two reasons why I believe Rafael Leao should have won the Man of the Match award last night instead of Reece James.
Because Leao was imprisoned, he did his best.
Last night, Rafael Leao was caged by his opponent, Reece James, but despite being hemmed in by England's right back, he still gave his all and should have been awarded man of the match.
Last night, he was Milan's best player.
Rafael Leao was unquestionably AC Milan's best player last night, and despite their loss, he should have received the Man of the Match award over Reece James.
Leao made a fairly good run into the penalty area in the first half, and it was his run at the stroke of halftime that gave AC Milan their only shot on goal and a glimpse of the goal.
