Cameroon Closes Schools And Offices To Watch 2021AFCON

Preparation for the AFCON was a challenge for Cameroon initially, the tournament was scheduled to host in 2019. But they were not able to host the tournament because of infrastructure challenges, as CAF extended the participating to 24 teams from it original 16 teams tournament.

However, they were able to host the tournament in 2022, and for the 2021AFCON to be successful.Cameroonians have been instructed to take the afternoon off to enjoy AFCON2021 actions.

Starting Monday 17th Jan 2022, schools will be closed at 1 PM, and public offices at 2 PM. To give the public humble time to watch #AFCON2021 matches. So far, impressive performance by the host national in 21AFCON

They have won all their Group A matches, and they are through to the round of 16. The competition is far from over as Nigeria, Ghana, Algeria and Egypt possible will make the next rounds.
