Liverpool's safety pair of hands, Alisson Becker kept a top four hopes for the red army, after a dramatic last minute header from a tall lanky goalkeeper.

The game went to the wire as West Bromich Albion played a boot for boot game with the struggling Liverpool team.

West Bromich Albion saw an early assist from Matteus Pereira which located Hal Robson-Kanu which eaze it pass Alison Becker in the 15th minute.

Liverpool got a swift response on the 33rd minute after Sadio Mane's sumptuous effort found Mohamed Salah.

Chances were squandered by both sides but great chances were unrealized by Liverpool as Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah failed to find the net.

It was all looking like it will end in a single 'punch' each but a drama effort from Liverpool saw their Champions League hope reignited.

Alison Becker rose above all with his height advantage joined with the aerial ability to grab a piercing cross from Trent Alexander-Arnold which ended up at the back of the net with just few minutes to end proceedings.

After their Liverpool's win, the table took shape making it look slippery for Leciester City, Chelsea and Liverpool as a single drop of point will drop them off the league log.
