Hakan Calhanoglu's second penalty attempt was unstoppable after a big save by Juventus goalkeeper Wojceich Szczesny but the video assistant referee spotted encroachment by the defender Matthij's de Ligt's and made no mistake in his second attempt with a wonderful finish. The penalty itself had only been awarded after a video assistant referee review on Alex's foul on Denzel Dumfries.
Juventus still on the move to still win a goal for themselves but had it hit the woodwork twice, Giorgio Chiellini striking the bar before the goal and Denis Zakaria crashing off the post in the final half, in which the referee eventually bring the match to an end.
The results went against the form books, with Juventus having been undefeated in the League since November and the champions Inter Milan only winning one of their previous seven. Thanks to Hakan Calhanoglu for a wonderful penalty shot in the game, with now three points behind Napoli.
