Man United Tries To Catch Up With Arsenal – Check How EPL Table Stands After Midweek Action

Though they started the football season on a very poor note, one could now say that the Gunners (Arsenal) are at a good position on the English Premier League table after 14 league matches. There were expectations that Arsenal could break into the Top 4 in the league by winning its 14th EPL game against Manchester United at Old Trafford. However, Manchester United reduced the points deficit by grabbing the needed 3 points at home as they played against the Gunners.

The visitors, Arsenal went into this game with better records than the host, Manchester United but Manchester United smashed those records with a 3:2 victory over Arsenal. Manchester United has now moved to the 7th position on the league table with 21 points; 2 points behind Arsenal (23) and 12 points behind league leaders, Chelsea (33). It seems that everything is working out perfectly for Manchester United under interim manager, Michael Carrick. Should Michael Carrick be given the job permanently or should a new coach be brought in? Let us know your views in the Comment section.

Chelsea, Manchester City and Liverpool maintained their respective 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions on the league table. All of the above teams won their respective games this week. Check below for the EPL standings after Gameweek 14:
