Hearts of Oak have confirmed the appointment of Serbian tactician Salvko Matic as their new head coach for two seasons.
Coach Salvko Matic becomes the third coach to handle the Accra based club after Samuel Boadu and interim boss, David Ocloo who will now revert to the assistant coach position.
Board Chairman for Accra Hearts of Oak has assured fans that their new coach will bring the success that the club desperately needs in the Ghana Premier league as well as competing well in African competitions.
Speaking on their expectations of the new coach, Togbe Afede said “Every coach we appoint knows that failure to win the league, as well as our ambitions in Africa, are things we take seriously as a club. He knows what we expect from him as a club and he is ready to meet the demands."
The Ghana Premier league is currently on hold after a court’s injunction. Coach Salvko Matic will therefore have a little time to get the team up to speed on his tactics.
