Germany international Werner has returned to RB Leipzig on a permanent transfer. With Romelu Lukaku having been loaned back to Inter Milan after his own disappointing second spell with the club, the Chelsea squad no longer possesses a traditional striker.
Like Lukaku, Werner has decided to head back to the place where he played his best football. The Germany striker is returning to RB Leipzig in a deal worth around £25m, a mere two years after leaving the Bundesliga club for £47.5m, and while it was impossible not to admire the 25-year-old’s effort in a Chelsea shirt it is difficult to argue with Thomas Tuchel’s decision to let him leave.
Andrew Belotti would be the perfect replacement for Timo Werner at Chelsea, L.Cristiano Ronaldo is a better fit for chelsea than manchester united. What Chelsea need a goal machine, Belottiand Ronaldo fit in especially with Chelsea style of play.
Edinson Cavani is another striker on the list and wouldn't cost Chelsea a fortune to land him since he's a free agent. Former Manchester United striker Edinson Cavani is reportedly looking around for new clubs. Considering the 34-year-old has Premier League experience I strongly believe he will do well in Chelsea.
