Heart of Oak has won the Ghana Premier League for 2020/21 season. The team will represent Ghana in the West Africa Challenge Cup with the team of champions in West Africa sub region as part of the pre-season for next season.
The phobians demonstrated a high degree of confidence in their performance this season and they were tipped as favourites to win the league. The Ghana Premier League giants are also eyeing the FA Cup to complete the double this season.
In view of this, the club is looking forward to beef up their squad by making major signings when the season end. The team will also be competing in the CAF Champions League next season.
The club has identified Samartex FC youngster Benjamin Yorke who had a scintillating performance in the second tier of the Ghana football. The player has signed a contract with the Hearts. And he is expected to lead the attack for the rainbow boys with their in-form striker Daniel Afriyie Barnieh in their various matches.
