Chelsea are finally through into the UCL semi finals as they await their next opponents
After a tough battle on Tuesday night, Chelsea edged past FC Porto into the Champions League Semis despite losing the net following a late time superb bike kick.
The away team tried all they could to dismantle Chelsea’s defense but failed as Blues remained focus on finishing the match with a draw.
It’s now on today’s shoulders to decide Chelsea’s next opponents, either Real Madrid or Liverpool.
Real Madrid look more likely to come through after beating Liverpool 3-1 in the first legs and are already 2 goals up in aggregate score.
Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel also revealed yesterday that he of the side he would rather face at the semis.
But to Mason Mount, the English man claims Blues are ready for any opponents that may come through at the next rounds.
‘We’ll take anyone,’ Mount said to BTsport.
‘We’re ready for the fight. We’re ready for the battle. We get to sit down and watch it and analyse it. We’ll be ready for anyone.’
Chelsea turn their attention to Saturday FA Cup semi finals opponents, Manchester City with Tuchel highly hopeful of his first trophy as Chelsea manager.
