AFCON 2021 is getting interesting every match day and today is no different as two fixtures came off - thus the Eagles of Nigeria against Sudan; and the Djurtus of Guinea-Bissau against the Pharaohs of Egypt in Group D.

The Eagles of Nigeria played their second match of the competition today against Sudan and scored three goals past them in which whatsoever, the Eagles were denied a clean sheet as Walieldin Khidir for Sudan scored a brilliant finish from the penalty spot in the 70th minute. Goals coming from Samuel Chukwueze, Taiwo Awoniyi, and Moses Simon were enough to silence the Falcons of Jediane as they top the Group D with six points followed by the Pharaohs of Egypt with three points - Guinea-Bissau - Sudan in that order.
The Pharaohs of Egypt after a hard-fought with Guinea-Bissau won by a goal to nil - Mohamed Salah.
However, after a lot of actions and drama, one player stood up and won the heart of many due to his excellent form today.

Nigerian Nantes star - Moses Simon is the man of the hour. The 26-year old who is valued in the transfer market at around $12M scored a brilliant goal and registered an assist as well. He was the most rated player in today's AFCON fixtures with a rating of 8.9 alongside two-key passes, two-shots on target, and pass accuracy of 82.6% according to sofa score statistics.
Egyptian right-back defender was rating the second-highest of 8.4 followed by Liverpool star - Mohamed Salah with a rating of 7.9.
