Europa News: Nemanja MATIC SET FOR SAN SIRO SHOWDOWN

Nemanja Matic says he is excited at the possibility of playing in one of the world's most notable areas.

The midfielder was, obviously, alluding to the San Siro, where he and the remainder of his Manchester United colleagues will be on Thursday when we take on AC Milan in the second leg of our last-16 Europa League tie.

Joined attracted 1-1 with the Rossoneri a week ago's gathering, which means the Reds should score in Italy on the off chance that we are to advance to the quarter-finals of the opposition.

While Matic knows the Serie An outfit will introduce an amazingly intense test indeed, he trusts the group can take a few exercises from the initial leg into Thursday's experience.

"Presently we find out about them," the Serbian told club media. "We know the manner in which they play. We must be attentive that they are a top group.

"They play great football, they have a decent mentor and it will be a fascinating game. It will be hard for us once more, yet we are certain and we will attempt to dominate the match."

Matic has recently disclosed to us that he watched Italian football growing up, and he's particularly anticipating playing at the world-acclaimed San Siro.

It's an arena that is set to be crushed in a couple of years' time, so for Nemanja, this could be his lone chance to venture out at the field.

"I never had the chance to play at the San Siro, this is my first time, so I am anticipating that," he said. "It's a notable arena as everybody knows and we are glad that we can go there and contend with them once more."

Joined should score in Milan in the event that we are to advance to the following round, in any case, in such an assault disapproved of the team, Matic says this reality will make little difference to the Reds' strategic methodology.

"We will play our football since we are not a group that just guards. We generally need to score more objectives. I figure we will play our football a similar way we are continually trying.

"We train each day and we will see. We are prepared to contend and we have an hour and a half to show our quality."

It's maybe the greatest seven-day stretch of United's season up until now, which finishes with Sunday's Emirates FA Cup quarter-last with Leicester City, and Nemanja is positively prepared for the difficulties that the current week's games will present.

"We are reaching the finish of the period so the quarter-finals and semi-finals are sitting tight for us. We need to show our character, our quality, and we need to show that we are prepared to win a few titles."
