Asante Kotoko Chief Executive Officer Nana Yaw Amponsah has finally met the Board of Directors of the club as has been confirmed by the club on its social media page. Chief Executive Officer Nana Yaw Amponsah used the opportunity to present the league trophy to the board chaired by Dr. Kwame Kyei.
“Our CEO , Nana Yaw Amponsah today presented our league trophy to our cherished Board of Directors.”
In the picture, Nana Yaw Amponsah is seen holding the league trophy with with board chairman Dr. Kwame Kyei as other board members were Ako’s present. The number of board members seen in the picture is seven.
The club, following the league triumph, will be representing Ghana in CAF Champions League. They have been drawn against Burkina Faso side RC Kadiogo in the first round of the preliminary stage.
It is yet to be revealed what other matters the board members and the chief executive officer discussed but the future of coach Prosper Ogum will definitely come up in the meeting as an amicable solution ia being searched for.
Despite the club yet to make known the way forward for the technical department, Asante Kotoko have began preseason in Accra and will be leaving Ghana for Turkey to continue preparations for the imminent season.
