Check The Latest Record That Has Been Broken at The World Cup

There were interesting results from the first group games of the 2022 FIFA World Cup with some players equaling records which have been set for years.

One of the defining moments was for Olivier Giroud who equaled the record of Thierry Henry’s all time France top scorer’s record as they came from a goal down to beat Australia 4-1.

A brace from the AC Milan forward, one each from Kylian Mbappe and Adriot Rabiot sank Australia after after Craig Goodwin had open the score for the Socceroos at the Al Janoub Stadium.

France forward, Kylian Mbappe has had rave reviews from ex-Belgium international, Vincent Kompany for his amazing form.

In the group D games, one of the African representatives, Tunisia held Denmark to a goalless draw at the Education City stadium.

There was a shocker in group C where Saudi Arabia came from a goal down to beat Argentina 2-1 and Herve Renard is head coach of Saudi Arabia.

Mexico vs Poland ended goalless at the 974 stadium in the other group game.

Later today, Germany will square off against the Blue Samurai of Japan and Spain will also take on Costa Rica in group E.

Belgium are up against Canada and the African interest comes back as Morocco battle Croatia in group F.
