Accra Hearts of Oak were the league winners of the Ghana Premier League. The team will be participating in CAF CHAMPIONS LEAGUE next season. The Ghana Premier League giants are also competing in the FA CUP.
Hearts were tipped as one of the favourites clubs to win the league this season by pundits after demonstrating an in incredible performance in the league. They amassed 61 points in 34 matches.
They have won twice, drawn twice and lost once in their last five matches. The team is in preparation for their pre-season games, as well as the Ghana Premier League next season.
One of their aggressive midfielders, Benjamin Afutu has renewed his contract with the club, which is a massive boast for the team. There was speculations the versatile midfielder will be joining another club at the end of the season but it did not happened. Afutu joined Hearts from Karela United in 2017.
