Accra Hearts of Oak seem to be enjoying good times as they have clinched the Treble this season and are looking forward to good times in the upcoming African Champions league season.
Their fans have not been silent after the league season and seem to be carrying the same confidence into the upcoming season.
A debate was sparked yesterday on their Twitter fans page when fans were asked who would you go for if "Your team is a goal down in the Champs league final, and they get an" 89th"minute free kick at the edge of the box?".
Who are you entrusting to take it?
Some fans rooted for the serial killer Don Bortey any day, some also chose Stephen Oduro aka Tico Tico on any given day.
It seems the fans were divided over who among the two legends would they pick on such an occasion if the scenario presented itself. These are some comments from some of the fans.
Don Bortey and Stephen Oduro could score free kicks from any angle when it matters. These two legends of Hearts and Kotoko respectively brought the fans to their feet with some dazzling skills and speed when it matters.
Stephen Oduro was a nightmare for many goalkeepers, including Phobia legend Sammy Adjei and many others. On the other hand, Don Bortey was not a name any goalkeeper wanted to face, especially when it came to free kicks, and this trade mark went beyond the shores of Ghana, he scored some great free kicks for the Phobians when they won the median edition of the CAF Confederation Cup.
The debate will forever go on since these legends were great beyond measure.
Well, what's your take on this issue? Who among these two do you believe will do justice to an "89th"min scenario if the chance presents itself?
