On The Field Of Play Asamoah Gyan Has Finished Paying His Dues - Former Deputy Sports Minister Says

Thoughts continue to flow with regards to the intentions of Asamoah Gyan to travel to Qatar with the Black Stars of Ghana as a player. Former Deputy Youth and Sports Minister, Vincent Oppong Asamoah believes Asamoah Gyan has paid his dues as expected, hence, cannot be part of Ghana’s World Cup squad.

“I believe he has done his job for the national team. He should know that he is a legend for Ghana but on the field of play, I believe he has finished paying his dues,” he told Onua Sports.

Asamoah Gyan, in a move to prove his critics wrong, has started training to keep the body in shape for playing duties. In a viral video, Asamoah Gyan has hit the training field with his trainers to embark on an intense exercise to keep the body fit.

He has been seen working on himself in a gym session to keep track of his body and be prepared for the upcoming task.

It is not known if Black Stars technical handlers led by Otto Addo will grant the request and wish of the former Sunderland hitman. Asamoah Gyan has made an impact at the World Cup by scoring six goals with three assists.
