Kumasi Asante Kotoko fans aimed a dig at Hearts of Oak captain Fatawu Mohammed over some distasteful comments he made about their star player Mbella Etouga. Mbella is considered by many as the best player in the premier league currently. That is up for debate though. He is the top scorer now with 14 goals. He is on course to break the record set by former phobian legend Ishmael Addo who scored 22 goals in a single season. Etouga has drawn a blank against the Phobians in the 2 matches he has played against them so far. Five of his goals have come from the penalty spot.

Fatawu Mohammed in an interview with Adikanfo FM made a statement that scoring penalties doesn't make one a great striker, an apparent dig at Etouga. This infuriated the Kotoko faithfuls who rained unpleasant words on him. They reminded him of his poor performance against South Africa on his national team debut. His opinion on Etouga has elicited harsh responses from fans on social media.
