Hearts of Oak Release Another Striker Ahead of Next Season

Accra Hearts of Oak have released a couple of players they deem surplus to their requirements ahead of next Ghana Premier League season.

The Phobians won everything on the domestic front last two seasons where they beat everyone to claim the gongs.


Hearts of defied all odds to claim their 21st Ghana Premier League title ahead of arch rivals, Asante Kotoko.


The Phobians also made a record by beating now demoted club, AshantiGold to claim a record 12th FA Cup title.


They beat the Miners by 8-7 penalty shootouts at the Accra Sports Stadium to claim a record 12th FA Cup title.

They played in the CAF Champions League but their performance was nothing to write home about as they got eliminated at the final playoff stage.


They dropped down to the CAF Confederation Cup and again their performance was nothing to write home about and they suffered elimination at the final playoff stage.


Last season was not the best as well as they missed the league title but managed to claim the MTN FA Cup. The Phobians have released Kofi Kodzi to Legon Cities fc for next season.
