As part of the tournament played among the African teams to decide the champions on the African continent, the confederation of African Football popularly known as CAF organize a tournament for the league title winners from the various league centers.
The tournament in played almost every year and after the tournament the teams are ranked based on the performance they put up in the tournament.
Each team hopes to be on the top list so they put in more efforts in the tournament and try to win it or be in finals.
This year the tournament will commence on 15th August 2022 with teams coming from the various leagues represent their country.
Ahead of the tournament, here are the latest CAD rankings:
On the 1 spot we have Al Ahly of Egypt, they are the only team on the African continent with most of the trophy and ranked as the first team with a total of 78 points.
On the 2 spot we have EL zamalek of Egypt, they are ranked second in the latest CAF rankings with a total points of 71.
So we have two Egyptian club on the first two spot.
On the 3 we have Esperance de Tunis of Tunisia, they took the 3rd spot with 58 points.
Raja Casablanca of Morocco also took the 4th spot with 54 points.
In Ghana we have Kumasi Asante kotoko on the 56th spot with 2 points. They have qualified for the 2022/2023 CAF champions league and they hope to win the trophy or be at a good side at the end of the tournament.
Also Aduana stars of Ghana is also on the 72 spot with 0.5 points, they were not able to qualify for this year’s tournament but hope for the better in the coming seasons.
So this is the lates CAF rankings ahead of the 2022/2023 CAF tournament.
