Accra Hearts of Oak Wallops Eleven Wonders at the Accra Sports Stadium.

It was all joy for all Hearts of Oak fans at the Accra sports stadium yesterday as the team crushed Techiman Eleven Wonders by 4 goals to 1 to move up to sixth position on the league table albeit having played a game less. It was the sort of response expected from the Phobians after their loss at Medeama last week. Kofi Kordzi scored a brace and then Salim Adams and Afriyie Barnieh added a goal each to complete the rout.

This is the sort of performance we are expecting from the defending champions. We need to see such performances on a consistent basis. It shouldn't be a one off affair. Boadu got his tactics spot on yesterday to emerge victorious with all the 3 points at the end of the 90 minutes.

Hearts should continue with this upward trajectory. They are just 7 points behind the league leaders. They can catch up because they have 2 games to play against the leaders Asante Kotoko before the end of the season.

One important thing too is that Richmond Ayi hasn't disappointed at all. He is performing admirably well. He is making the absence of Richard Attah not to be felt. Hearts should keep up the good teamwork they have and at the end of the season they can bring bring more silverware home. Retaining the title wouldn't be far away from them.
