The current technical team of the club has been depleted following the exit of head coach Kosta Papic, deputy coach Asare Bediako, Equipment Officer Alhassan and goalkeeper's trainer Ben Owu. The press briefing led by the Supporters Chief Elvis Herman Hesse saw the group demanding the appointment of a local coach. According to Elvis Herman Hesse, the Supporters will not tolerate and accept should the Board appoint another expatriate coach to head the club's technical team. The supporters spokesperson also revealed that they asked Mr. Fredrick Moore to apologize but he did not, rather it was Kwame Opare Addo who decided to render apology on his behalf.

Hearts of Oak met arch rivals Asante Kotoko in the President Cup this Sunday 15th December, 2019. The NCC on behalf of Supporters and other Organs of the club [Hearts Ladies, Ahoopa etc.] is calling for the immediate reconstitution of the Club’s Board of Directors to make accommodation for stakeholders and Minority shareholders and holding of the long overdue Annual General meeting of the Club. The NCC demands an emergency meeting with the majority shareholders for briefs on the current state and happenings in the Club. The NCC demands immediate consensus stakeholder meeting between the majority/Minority (Shareholders) on one hand, and other key organs of the Club in order to Foster lasting Unity for the Club.
The grievance and petitions are geared towards the board of directors wishing them the best of luck to consider this and make a statement out of this. In sometime past the conditions of the players has been paramount to the chapters. The interest of some majority stakeholders are becoming very bad with the view of putting in much effort. A statement released by the Club’s Public Relations Officer (PRO), Mr. Kwame Opare Addo said the NCC Chairman tendered his resignation on Tuesday and they were disappointed in his decision considering the situation the club finds itself at the moment. “The club finds it unfortunate that Mr. Hesse could not continue to serve on the Board at this critical time. “As a leader and thus a vibrant member of the Club’s followers, he was expected to be the voice of the supporters on the Board, and be part of a conscientious effort to mobilize supporters, and also assure all the club’s followers of the bright outlook for the club, given initiatives that are being taken to lay a solid foundation for the club’s growth.
