Ghanaian players are really doing well in various leagues across Europe and the world at large. My article today focuses on their performance for their respective clubs today 24th January,2021. Without much ado, let me delve into their performance.
1. Daniel Amartey
Daniel Amartey enjoyed full throttle as Leicester walked comfortably over Brentford at the 1/16 stage of the Fa cup competition today which ended with Leicester sweeping Brentford by 3:1 of goals. He made some decent tackles to ensure that Leicester doesn't concede after conceding the first goal of the game.
2. Alexander Djiku
Alexander Djiku also played 90 minutes of football today for Strasbourg were they held Dijon in one all draw. He was very formidable in the defence today to enable Strasbourg pick a vital point away from home. He made safe and played to the whistle. He was never booked in today's game.
3. John Boye
John Boye the former Kpando Heart of Lions defender was instrumental in the 90 minutes of soccer fiesta which saw his side Mertz winning against Nantes by 2 goals to nil.
4. Trique Fosu
Trique Fosu also played 90 minutes for Brentford as they lost to Daniel Amartey's Leicester at home. The versatile player, made some cut-in and some opportunistic ball crosses for tap in.
5. Kasim Nuhu
Nuhu featured for Hoffenheim for 90 minutes in the Bundesliga today as they thrashed Crotone 3:1. He did due diligence in duels and clearance. He his pairing with two other centre backs was enough to give Hoffenheim the victory today.
6. Samuel Owusu
Samuel Owusu played 88minutes for the Saudi giants Al Ali. Playing as lone striker,he tormented the defence of Al-Ettifaq with some irritating dribbles. At the end of the day Al Ali secured a 2:1 victory over the opponent.
I personally think if these performances will continue, then Ghana Black Stars has a future.
