Accra Hearts Of Oak And Great Olympics Go Head To Head For Glory

Accra Great Olympics will need to intensify their performance for a respectable score line this weekend, as they come up against league leaders Accra Hearts of Oak. The cagey encounter dubbed the Ga Mantse Derby, will definitely churn out all that is craved for in association football.

Having gone five matches unvanquished, coach Samuel looks ahead to beating their opponent for a sixth successive win and secure their stay at the summit of the table. With the first leg defeat in mind, the coach will go all out with his best materials to run over Olympics. Coach Samuel Boadu may not tweak his line up that started against Berekum Chelsea last weekend. Based on their style of play, Accra Hearts of Oak will aim to dominate possession with their attacking style of play, bosses the midfield as many times as possible, switched play to the flanks when the need arise and score goals with any least opportunity. This will require workaholic midfielder Benjamin Afutu Kotey to stay relevant throughout the course of the game. Striker Kojo Obeng Junior - who pencilled his name on the score card against Berekum Chelsea in the league and Liberty Professionals in FA Cup - will be heavily relied upon to make events uncomfortable for Great Olympics defenders. Salifu Ibrahim will be allowed to operate freely as seen recently, to take off with his intricate assists for goals. Daniel Afriyie Barnieh and Victor Aidoo could be in line to enjoy a starting role in the game.

Accra Great Olympics will make an attempt to give league leaders a run for their money. Coach Annor Walker has allayed fears of a possible heavy defeat to Accra Hearts of Oak. Although some key players have left for national assignment, Great Olympics are not ready to settle for mediocrity and give excuses. They may open up the game, look for spaces to make their way out.

With 5 points separating both teams, Accra Hearts of Oak fix their sights on extending their lead, whilst Accra Great Olympics hope to slash points difference.
