Following a meeting with the technical committee of the Board and Management on Wednesday, Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum, together with whom the Asante Kotoko won the Ghana Premier League last season, was reported to have tendered in a notice of his resignation.
However, the Porcupine Warriors' board of directors claims that the out gone WAFA coach has not quit, and has thus called on the public to treat it with the necessary disdain it requires.
The Asante Kotoko Board of Directors has learned from a variety of social media outlets and news in general that the club’s coach Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum has informed the board's technical committee of his resignation.
We wish to tell you that the aforementioned coach has not quit neither has he in any way informed the Board of his resignation.
The club's Board Secretary Kwamima Mensah made a statement which says, "Please dismiss any such information."
