National Division One League, DOL side FC Samartex are planning to celebrate in big style as they host Sekondi Hasaacas this weekend.
The Timber Giants have qualified to play in the Ghana Premier League, GPL next season after winning the DOL Zone Two competition with three matches to spur.
And as they host Hasaacas at the Samartex Stadium, Samraboi on Sunday in their penultimate home game of the campaign, they plan to make it a party atmosphere in the township.
Thousands of fans are expected to turn up at the venue for this encounter which will be their first since they earned the qualification spot last Sunday at Swedru after their game with All Blacks.
Club CEO Edmund Ackah said, they plan to celebrate this historic qualification for over a week having toiled in the Ghanaian lower leagues for 26 years.
It definitely will be a charged atmosphere at Samreboi on Sunday as the township welcomes people from all walks of life to acknowledge a great feat attained by the whole community.
