It’s A Completely Different World – Sporting CP Coach Tells Black Star Player

Coach for Sporting Lisbon CP, Amorim, has revealed the reason why Black Stars player, Fatawu Issahaku is not a starter for the Portuguese side.

The young starlet was signed in 2020 but has seen little game time with the senior team for Sporting Lisbon but has made regular features for their B team.

Fatawu was one of the best performers in Ghana’s game against Nicaragua. His explosiveness and technique even led to a goal for the Black Stars. However, Coach for Sporting Lisbon has downplayed the idea that the player could be a starter based on his performance in the last match.

Speaking to the media about Fatawu, the coach said ““The reality of Fatawu is very different from ours. He played against Nicaragua, I don't want to take credit for it, but you have to see the difference in the football we are playing, it's a completely different world. Fatawu did not have Mateus Fernandes' school and other players did and he is making that transition.”
