I am back to claim my position for the betterment of the club-Fatawu Mohammed

Fatawu signed a two-year contract with the club after protracted negotiations which saw him missed their President Cup encounter with Kotoko. The club confirmed his renewal on their official Twitter account “Our captain, Fatawu Mohammed extends his contract,”.

Earlier reports in the local media indicated that Fatawu had requested for an improved contract to pen a new deal with figures quoted around Ghc 2,000 monthly salary. The gaffer has made this huge promise ahead of the upcoming campaign and insists his side is good enough to win the ultimate and will be going for it.

And, he has received the backing of the club captain who said the entire squad is up for it and are working hard towards fulfilling the ambitions of the technical head. A statement from the club read, "Our Captain, Fatawu Mohammed extends his contract". “The preseason has been good so far with all the players showing their willingness to show to the technical team what they can offer next season, and, I am positive that the team will rise to the challenge”, Fatawu said.

The captain for the Accra based club has decided to overtake Larry Sumaila for his position, which Nii Odoom fixed for Larry. The skipper recommend the young chap for his first time experience with the great Oak club in 2020/21 season. But now that the Serbian coach is ever ready to use him again then he is not going to leave any gap and keep working hard till he get to the top of the Ghana Black Stars.
