
Ghanaian professional sprinter, Benjamin Azamati has made the nation proud as he has qualified for the 100m final in the ongoing Commonwealth games held in Bellingham.
Benjamin Azamati finished 3rd with a time of 10.18s.
He is the s Ghanaian to make it to the final after also made it to the final of the men 800m race.
Speaking after his race, Benjamin said that he is happy to be finals because looking at what happened in the world athletics some weeks ago he sees this as improvement.
He indicated that he will go back and watch the race and he will put in a s upcoming finals.
He added that he seen it that his start is not okay and that he is working towards it so he can be better and make the nation more proud.
Benjamin Azamati also said that he will do his best and win the medal for Ghana because he believes he owes it to the country.
