Timo Werner will have another chance to end to his lengthy goal drought when Chelsea take on Sheffield tomorrow, according to a report in the English media.

As per an insider in Chelsea Camp, Timo Werner will start alongside Hudson Odoi at Bramal lane with the German being motivated by his new manager Thomas Tuchel to start scoring. Thursdays English premier league action witnessed another frustrating night for the former Leipzig goal machine who couldn't score after missing goal scoring opportunities. As it stand now, Timo Werner has scored just 4 goals in 21 appearances for The Blues this season in English Premier league– 18 from the start and 4 as a substitute.

Werner's last goal for Chelsea came in a 4-1 win over Sheffield United at Stamford Bridge on November 7. Due to this fact, fans and pundits are expecting Timo Werner to score against the relegation strugglers (Sheffield United) again on Sunday.

The 24-year-old has gone two months without scoring a goal, leading fans to publicly criticize his poor goal return. Even though Timo Werner didn’t get his name on the score-sheet during Chelsea’s reverse fixture with Tottenham on Thursday night, he did play a decisive role in their narrow 1:0 victory by causing a Tottenham player to foul him in the penalty box which led to a penalty. Jorginho score the winning goal from a spot kick. The former Leipzig forward will be hoping to have a similar impact against Sheffield side tomorrow evening, with English pundits warning Timo Werner lack goals may became dilemma for Thomas Tuchel to solve.
