
As a result of the alleged 91-1 and 95-0 victories for Gulf FC and Kahunla Rangers in the playoffs, supporters believe that the strange scores require more investigation.
Fans were left to speculate online about whether the 187 goals claimed to have been scored in two Sierra Leone league games to purportedly guarantee qualification for the national playoffs on Sunday.
Kahunla Rangers and Gulf FC went into their respective matches on Sunday on 32 points each.
Gulf FC, who had a superior goal difference, were looking to finish second to qualify for the Sierra Leone Premier League playoff.
At the end of their games, Gulf City beat Ququima Lebanon 91-1 while Kahunla Rangers beat Lumbebu United 95-0.
The Sierra Leone 🇸🇱 Football Association have started investigating both games.
Following recent reports of 1st Division matches-Gulf FC vs Koquima Lebanon and Lumbendu United vs Kahula Rangers in the ongoing Eastern Regional Super 10 League with apparently produced impractical results the has opened office investigations.
