Dybala excited to work under Mourinho after sealing Roma switch

In order to bring Argentine forward Paulo Dybala to the Italian club on a free transfer, Roma manager Jose Mourinho pulled off a significant transfer coup.

The 28-year-old Dybala left Juventus after seven years when his contract expired last month.

Mourinho's Europa Conference League champions have won the race to sign the enormously talented South American, despite a number of major European teams being linked with his signature.

Five-time Serie A champion Dybala signs a three-year contract with the Giallorossi and is looking forward to working alongside Tammy Abraham of England in the Italian city.

When he finished, Dybala said: "The drive and promptness with which Roma shown their desire for me throughout the days leading up to this agreement made all the difference.

"I am joining a team that is expanding, a club that is building stronger foundations for the future, and a coach, Jose Mourinho, who it is an honor to work with.

"As a rival, I was impressed by the atmosphere the Giallorossi fans created, and I can't wait to meet them wearing the Roma shirt."
