Cristiano Ronaldo has described the game with the Black Stars as the most difficult one for his team.
Ronaldo, the captain of his national team Portugal, noted that his team should be more focused on their game against the Black Stars of Ghana to cement their chances of winning the 2022 World Cup. He described their face-off with Ghana as the most difficult one for Portugal.
The five-time Ballon d'Or winner said, “but like these competitions always teach us. We must think calmly. We must think and focus on the first group game. We must think about the Ghana game, which is the most difficult one."
The 37-year-old Manchester United forward believes his national team has tremendous potential to win the World Cup.
“I believe our national team has tremendous potential to win the World Cup. We will see. I believe we can. I have that hope, that belief,” he said.
Portugal will play against the Black Stars on Thursday, November 24, 2022, as the opening match for Group H in Doha, stadium 974.
