Referee Ali Musah handled our game against Hearts poorly - Medeama deputy coach

Deputy coach of Medeama SC, Yaw Acheampong says referee Ali Musah was not qualified to handle their game against Hearts of Oak last Sunday in week 29 in Accra.

The Mauve and Yellow fell by 2-0 in the 2020/21 Ghana premier league season to Hearts of Oak.

Yaw Acheampong was not happy with Ali Musah’s officiating in their defeat.

“I will say that, I think the match was bigger than the referee, that is what I will say.

“I believe you all watched the game, he had to take full control of the game and he couldn’t do that, so that is what I will say.” Yaw Acheampong said.

Medeama notwithstanding the defeat are still in the top four race.

Yaw Acheampong said of their title race.

“We still haven’t given up, we are still fighting and we believe that at the end of the season we will achieve our target.” Yaw Acheampong added.

Medeama are 4th on the league table with 46 points from 29 matches.
