Former Nigeria captain Jay Jay Okocha showed class by defeating Asamoah Gyan in tennis after coming back from a set down. The two giants met on a court in South Africa, with Okocha demonstrating that he can play tennis as well as anyone else.

 Asamoah Gyan just won a tennis doubles tournament in Ghana before heading to South Africa to work as a sports commentator. Austin 'Jay Jay' Okocha, a Nigerian football icon, has earned the right to gloat about beating Ghana's all-time leading scorer Asamoah Gyan in a tennis match.

 On a court in Johannesburg, the two African football giants faced off, with Okocha demonstrating skill by coming back from a set down to end the Ghanaian. In a video discovered by on Tik Tok, Gyan is seen confessing that Okocha is the best tennis player in a video aired on Tik Tok and noticed by

 Following the tennis match, Okocha mocked the Ghanaian, telling him he wasn't up to standard yet.

"He is dead. He wanted to bamba and chill with the big boys. But he is running," said Okocha.

Meanwhile, Asamoah Gyan accepted defeat with pride, acknowledging that after winning the first set, he became complacent.

"Honestly, he did well. First set I took it so I thought he was very very low to my standard. He did very very well, there were some balls I didn't think he will take but he did," said Gyan. 

Both ex-players have been working as specialized commentators for Super Sport, a South African television station, where they provide razor-sharp commentary to viewers. Following a dismal campaign, Ghana and Nigeria were both ousted from the Africa Cup of Nations.
