In their World Cup match on Monday, South Korea's attacking midfielder Jeong Woo-yeong revealed that they will take advantage of Ghana's lack of togetherness to create opportunities.
At the Education City Stadium in Al Rayyan, the Black Stars will take on the Asian juggernauts in the second Group H match.
In their opening group game, Ghana was defeated 3-2 by Portugal, while Uruguay and Korea last Thursday battled to a scoreless draw.
Ghana seems to struggle with collaboration, therefore I believe we can improve the situation there.
However, the SC Freiburg midfielder acknowledged that Ghana is very quick, so the Koreans must watch the gaps behind them.
"Ghana moves quickly, so pay attention to the area behind you. I believe that utilising the back space in the opposite direction after the ball is stolen will increase the number of opportunities," stated Woo-yeong.
To increase their prospects of moving on to the final rounds of the tournament in Qatar, the Black Stars must win at all costs.
