The man of the moment, Yaw Annor is now the hero for Ashanti Gold club and the people or fans in Obuasi. Most football fans tipped him to overtake Franck Mbella Etouga to win the golden boot and marvelously he did it yesterday at the Dun's Stadium.
Yaw Annor talking on Original FM, revealed certain vital things about the competition that was going on between him and Cameroonian striker Franck Mbella Etouga.
On winning the Ghana Premier league golden boot, he said that, he is having a great feeling about winning it but Etouga was not giving him a tough time but he was rather putting a lot of pressure on Etouga. He said that, being able to break a 21-years record as a winger is a great achievement.
He said, I will thank God and applaud my teammates. Is not easy from day one and how competitive the league was. The feeling is great. Etouga was not giving me a tough time but I was putting pressure on him."
Yaw Annor became the top scorer of the 2021/2022 Ghana Premier league after scoring 22 goals in 30 games.
