It’s Too Early to Start Celebrating Our Good Performance - Former Hearts Coach

Head coach of Aduana Stars, Joseph Asare Bediako says there is room for his charges to improve despite squeezing three points in their week five of the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League.

The two time Ghana champions showed grit and experience against a luck luster Legon Cities FC at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday. Experienced forward, Yahaya Mohammed scored the only goal of the game with a smashing free kick on the 30th minute to separate the two sides. Legon Cities enjoyed a lion share of possession yet lacked intelligence in the final third of a resilient and much experienced Aduana Stars. Aduana Stars have now consolidated their points, coming up to eight from five matches but Asare Bediako believes his lads still have more to learn.

“There is still more room for improvement, you know we have new players about five of them. “So putting them together with the old players is not easy. You can’t just put them [new players] aside and use the old players and you can’t just drop the old players and pave way for the new boys.

“You have to take your time and put them together before they can gel so there is still more room for improvement,” Joseph Asare Bediako told Africa-foot.com reporter, Adamu Muftawu. Aduana Stars will host West Africa Football Academy in week six at the Nana Agyemang Badu on Saturday, December 4.
