Two of the most decorated coaches in the history of football are set to battle it out this Saturday in the English premier league in what is described as a repeat or revenge encounter.
Manchester city lost to Tottenham 2:0 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the first fixture and the second fixture will be happening at the Etihad stadium. A slow start to the season saw Manchester city out of the top four drawing with Leeds United and being hammered by Leicester city 5:2. However, after the draw against West Brom they have gone ten matches unbeaten in the league with their counterpart Tottenham recovering from a three consecutive loss (Liverpool, Brighton and Hover Albion and Chelsea) and recording a 2:0 win against West Brom in the Tottenham Hotspur stadium thanks to goals from kane and son who have being preferfect throughout the season. Manchester city also sealed a 4:0 win against Liverpool in Anfield in an encounter that was full of drama after a brilliant display from Phil Foden and I. Gundogan and a below the average performance from Alisson Becker
Man City now sit on top of the table with 50 points, 14 points more than Tottenham who sit 8th with 36 points and each having an outstanding match to play.
Although, matches between these two coaches have major at times less to do with form and more to do with tactics.
But with the fine form Manchester city are in now together with the free flow football of Pep Guardiola against the pragmatic approach as people describe of Mourinho which as yielded success for him over the years- Who do you think will carry the day?
Manchester City or Tottenham Hotspur?
