Former Black Star footballer seen starring in an upcoming movie

Over the year, in Ghana and around the world, we have seen and heard of many great football players, who have risen very high for some times during their playing careers, and then fallen ‘flat to the ground’, sometimes even before the end of their careers.


On the other side; some players have also ended their football careers successfully, and moving on with their private lives in happiness. So has been the case of the former Black Star player Paintsil.


John Paintsil, the former Ghana Black Stars defender, seems to have found himself a new happy career, after his just ended football job; as photos of him on set; has been seen hitting the internet. in an upcoming local movie series.

The photos of the former Black Stars footballer in an acting scene, with some very popular Kumawood actors like Kwadwo Nkansah (Lil Wayne), George Appiah Kubi (Paa George) and Clement Bonney (Mr. Beautiful), have been spotted circulating on the social media.


All the photos, which depicts an acting scene, where posted by the renowned Ghanaian actor Lil Win, on his Instagram page, and tagged “Another series from the camp of wezzy empire, AGYA BOFO)... Coming soon”.

John Paintsil (born June 15, 1981) is a Ghanaian former professional footballer . He played club football for Berekum Arsenal, Liberty Professionals, Maccabi Tel Aviv, Hapoel Tel Aviv, West Ham United, Fulham, Leicester City, Santos and Maritzburg United. He also played many international games for the Ghana Black Stars.
