President of Senegal His Excellency Macky Sall has reportedly declared today 7th February 2022 as a National Holiday for winning the first ever African Cup of Nations. This will be marked every year to commemorate this beautiful success. Today, all schools and offices can rest.
Yesterday, Senegal won the 2021 African Cup of Nations after beating their tough opposition rivals from Egypt. According to reports, thousands of Senegalese trooped onto the streets in celebration.
Someone being hailed in relation to this big win is their coach. Accordingly to history, he has been with the team for over 8 years without any landmark success.
