REPORTS: Manchester United set to beat Arsenal in the race to sign 28-year-old forward this summer

In order to improve Manchester United's attacking alternatives for the upcoming season, the summer transfer market has officially opened.

Keep in mind that Manchester United's 2021/2022 season was a dismal failure, with the club finishing sixth in the Premier League table.

United must add fresh forwards this summer after the likes of Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, and Anthony Elanga underwhelmed last season.

According to rumours, Manchester United are interested in signing Paulo Dybala, an out-of-contract offensive midfielder.

It is now possible to sign the 28-year-old Argentine international who decided to quit Juventus football club after his contract expired.

In the just-completed 2021/2022 season, the seasoned forward had a significant impact for Juventus, scoring 15 goals and assisting six more in 39 appearances across all competitions.

Paulo Dybala, on the other hand, was unable to come to an agreement with Juventus on a new deal, and he is currently a free agent.

According to The Sun, Manchester United and Arsenal are both interested in signing Paulo Dybala on a free transfer at the end of the season.

According to the reports, Paulo Dybala is considering his options and is ready to join Manchester United before the summer transfer window closes.

However, with Erik ten Hag in charge, it is unlikely that Manchester United will be able to outbid Arsenal for Paulo Dybala in the coming season.
